Official Shoe of the 39th Edition of the Goya Awards
A collaboration that reflects our shared artistic vision with the seventh art, where fashion and storytelling intertwine to create something unique.
In the 39th edition of the Goya Awards, Hispanitas returns as a Collaborating Brand and Official Shoe of Spanish cinema’s biggest night.
This time, we do it alongside Valencian designer Juan Vidal, with whom we have created an exclusive design. A true work of art, just like the films of our cinema, which also represents a commitment to craftsmanship, expertise, and quality.
Under a dreamlike design, we set out to create a true work of art. A black satin stiletto, 10 cm high, with a sleek satin finish, adorning the ankle with a bow made from the same raw material used to create all the films that have made us dream in the world of cinema: celluloid.
Amaia Salamanca, as the star of the night, dazzled with her signature sophistication, wearing this footwear that became a symbol of style and distinction, capturing all eyes.
AN ADAPTATION THAT DEFIES THE CONVENTIONAL
The model designed exclusively for the 39th edition of the Goya Awards has been reinterpreted, replacing the celluloid with a grosgrain ribbon that ties around the ankle.
The perfection of technique, the sensitive study of female strength, and the exploration of seduction are the constants in Juan Vidal’s work.
“When I was commissioned by Hispanitas to design the official shoe for the Goya 2025 Awards, it was a real challenge. The first thing I thought was that it had to have a direct connection to cinema—it couldn’t be a subtle nod that wasn’t understood, too conceptual, or inspired by just one film.Instead, the reference had to be clear at first glance and attempt to encompass as much of film history as possible. That’s why I instinctively went back to the basics: celluloid, the plastic tape that captures each frame of those films we have enjoyed so much since the beginning of cinema.”
