SUSTAINABLE INSIDE AND OUT
MATERIALS
For the development of Model 001 we selected materials that guarantee our commitment to reduce our environmental impact and carbon footprint.
Recycled cotton and polyester
100% recycled cotton fabric from surplus and used clothing and polyester. Made in Spain with a sustainable dry process and 0 water consumption. It is the main material we use in the production of our sustainable trainer.
Sugar cane
We use the natural resources of vegetable origin that the planet offers us, such as sugar cane waste, to produce an environmentally friendly raw material, with which we create the insole of our trainers.
Maize
We use polymers from corn plants to make the lining of our trainer along with other recycled components.
Recycled rubber
We process waste from used tyres to produce a recycled rubber sole.
Eco-friendly Leather
We combine 100% recycled cotton fabric and polyester with chrome-free leather to make our trainer, which guarantees the absence of toxic substances in the tanning process.
Recycled and recyclable cellulose
We make our insoles with recycled and ecologically sourced materials to produce a sustainable product.
0 Water consumption
Dry manufacturing process that guarantees minimum water consumption, by means of which we obtain the recycled fabric.
We reduce our carbon footprint
Designed and manufactured 100% in Spain.
We make local products, thus reducing our carbon footprint so our impact on the environment is reduced.

In order to achieve sustainable development, it is essential to find a balance between the three fundamental pillars on which sustainability is based: economy, society and environment
Because sustainability means much more than fighting for the preservation of the ecosystem; sustainability also involves people, taking care of our human capital. That is why at Hispanitas we declare ourselves SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE, and our commitment to society is to help make it fairer.
To achieve this, we are involved in different projects, as well as collaborating on a regular basis with various associations that fight to defend and improve people’s quality of life and support the needs of the population.

Since 2013 we have been supporting local sport, sponsoring the Petrer Handball Club which bears our name.

In 2017 and 2018, we were the official sponsor of the Spanish Women’s and Men’s Handball National Team.

PRODUCT
In 2013 we launched our solidarity line Valor H, which represents the ethical values of the brand: Honesty, Humility, History, Hispanic and Human. A charitable collection, where a percentage of the sales of each pair was destined to three associations that help to improve the quality of life of people with physical and mental disabilities.

MASKS
We collaborated in the production of a charity mask designed by Victorio & Lucchino, in which all the profits raised were donated in full to the Isabel Gemio Foundation, for Research into Muscular Dystrophies and other Rare Diseases.
HISPANITAS FACE MASKS DONATION
2020
Due to the shortage of masks experienced at the beginning of the pandemic, we decided to stop our activity to dedicate ourselves exclusively to the manufacture of masks, to protect the most vulnerable sectors that fought against the virus from the front line.
2021
In order to help sectors as important to society as education and health to continue carrying out their activities as safely as possible, we made several donations of reusable hygienic masks to different centres.
A total of 22,473 masks were donated to essential services, including hospitals, pharmacies, schools, universities and security forces.
MASK DESIGN COMPETITION
We wanted to thank the little ones for their exemplary behaviour during the pandemic, with a nice prize for the best mask design among the infant and primary school pupils of Petrer.
