This 2015 is a special year in HISPANITAS. The brand is being 25 years old so we don’t want to miss out the opportunity to celebrate it in a special way. It was a summer night, in 1989, when Francisco Chico, father of the current leaders of the brand, while he was looking for an “Spanish-sounding” name that could define the quality of their “Made in Spain” shoes, when he had this inspiration:
“Let´s add Spanish touch to our ballerinas, let´s call them Hispanitas”
So, under this inspiration was born the first shoe collection, which was shown in Madrid in 1990. Hispanitas created a loafer called “style 177”, a decisive shoe which was a powerful push for the young brand, managed already for Luis and Carlos Chico de Guzman. 
During the years, we have designed and created a lot of shoes, developing and taking care of quality and details. We have been inspired by “Hispanitas woman”, with a large assortment of colours and designs, evolving with fashion but keeping our essential feature. To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we have done something really special; we have recovered our most emblematic shoe, the style 177, reissuing it faithfully as a brand icon. It is a loafer/slipper without lining, made with our unique premium quality materials, in addition to flexible and extra comfortable special soles. Being loyal to the original product, the style 177 has been made in different colours and prints: since pastel shades to colourful prints.
